Just wondering how many with this edition are missing cf and if you ever received the missing piece(s) and/or what Toyota is saying to resolve issue.

im missing the spoiler which seems to be more common and I’ve contacted Toyota and the rep is saying he is researching the issue for past 2 months but I’m not sure what there is to research. Either they get a 3rd party to make some more or they hope the issue just goes away. I’m surprised they didn’t do a 10% overrun for any parts to have some in stock - just in case.

Yeah. I was just checking how many are having this issue - maybe a class action might get them off their ass.

Good luck with that. 2021 had a handful of oil consumption issues they didn't do anything.

Im estimating 35% or more from what I followed and saw. Primarily effected the AZW cars. Toyota had assembly line issues during the run of the A91-CF edition and they chose to not replace those models that were built without the CF body kit on them. They were sold to dealerships at a deep discount to sell as-is. Problem is that the dealerships try to sell them as A91-CF editions and waters the prices down from these sold units which weren’t A91-CF models. Any action would be against the dealer that sold them as Toyota sold them to the dealers with full disclosure and discounts. They were sold AS-IS by Toyota and the dealers were very dirty trying to sell them as is for the A91-CF price. I’ve even seen standard Supras listed as A91-CF because the console in the car had carbon fiber on it etc. lots of dirty dealership tricks on the A91-CF model listings. Doing so allowed them to get financing easier from banks since the MSRP of the carbon model is so much higher than any trim of Supra to date.

You can also order the spoiler at your expense (approx 1200 if I remember correct for spoiler) the parts are available but you can only order the A91-CF parts if you own one and show proof it’s needed. The parts for the A91-CF are special allowance only for owners needing repairs etc. Toyota made sure the A91-CF knock offs wouldn’t happen to protect the value of the limited edition model. For those completely missing the CF body kit I think it was like $15k to add it.

There are some nice replicas coming soon, but the OEM parts are extremely pricey and hard to come by unless you own the car.

The spoiler never came in exposed carbon. It was painted black even on the cf editions.

What? 100% incorrect. Easily proven wrong by listings and owners. Where do people come up with this totally false information? Do you forget social media and the internet exists?

I stand corrected. I guess I'm mixing it up with the mirror caps that didn't come without adding it on after.

Yeah they come with the CF wing the 2021 A91 has the black gloss wing.

You are correct my CF came with the CF mirror caps but they are an option just like the standard 2022 Supras.

I FIND IT ODD… why would my mirror carbon caps be optional on my A91-CF Toyota? It’s the CF edition with optional Carbon mirror caps. ?

Toyota repurchased my 2021 Supra via the Oregon lemon law. It consumed about 1qt every 1000 miles

Technically the 2021 A91 came with Satin Black lip spoiler, not gloss black :)

Let's be honest, this overconfident guy talks out of his ass more than anyone else on this forum. Dude wants to bicker over what material things are made out of and can't even spell the word 'steel' correctly, then acts like he knows what Toyota's motives were with certain product changes. Seriously, he doesn't realize who he's talking to, and at this point it's just becoming pure entertainment for me.

I guess they did do that for a few. But, still didn't really address the issue publicly.
