For anyone who got their car recently and is on the east coast, how long did it takes yours to make it through port?

Mine should have arrived at NYC on Monday and I'm trying to get an idea of how much longer I'll have to wait.

I think it was about 2 weeks for processing and delivery.

So once yours got to the US, how long did it take to make it to the dealer? Or does that 2 week figure include that?

How long did it take to get your allocation? I ordered mine on Feb 15th. Put down my deposit. Curious how long until I get an allocation. I ordered a 2023 Burnout A91-MT.

It completely depends on the dealer and also how specific you are. I put down my deposit in June 2022 and received my allocation mid-January. Others have taken longer and others have taken much less time. My dealer said they get about 1 supra every 3-4 weeks. You should be able to ask you dealer where on the list you are and also how often they receive a supra and do the math to ballpark how long it will take.

I was including that. I think it was a little under two weeks from when I was told it was stateside to when I took delivery.

Oh wow. I guess I need to get everything in order then.

I was expecting about a month between landing in the US and delivery.

I just took a dive into my emails and I guess it was closer to 2.5 weeks. In any case, it'll vary, so def want to be ready.

Mine arrived in Newark on the 27th and at the dealership in Vermont today. 9 days

Did you put a deposit to be on a wait list or do financing?

I did financing and secured a VIN and allocation slot. I think someone before me cancelled theirs.

I put a deposit to pay cash for it. I’m not financing.

Did you get a VIN? I don't know what you're agreement is with the dealer, but there's a lot taking deposits to but it's not a guarantee to get one. If you have a VIN you're in good shape.

I got my VIN Dec 17th when I did my paper work. No idea how long it was in Allocation before that.

The dealer said the same thing to me. I won’t get a VIN until I get an allocation. I was guaranteed that I would get a vehicle by placing a deposit.

The dealer told me the same, but they had the VIN available and said it would be safer to do the contract. I only did 1K for my financing and agreed to adjust it when I came back to pick up the car. They haven't sent my paperwork to Toyota yet, so I have not been making payments. They basically pre-sold the car to me and removed it from their sellable inventory. I didn't want to finance through TFS, but I am going to refinance through my credit union anyway. If this is what it takes to guarantee myself a Supra I'm fine with it.

Hopefully dealer follows through with you and they get you your VIN, until then I would say there's no for sure guarantee unless you have a contract

best of luck getting that a91 burnout I had to settle with the CU later grey.. from what I understand they are damn near impossible to get
