While you can drop it in and run it on jb4 it will not be optimal. To get passed the 500 marker you'll need meth with ethanol or run a high octane race gas.

Let's say I don't want to run meth because of the maintenance of the bottle, you know, making sure I always have meth, etc. I am looking for easy daily drivability and reliability with more power. I'd like to get to around 550 wheel hp. Will this turbo coupled with a OTS flash tune from MHD or BM3 do it? Could I reach that whp with Ethanol blends? Do I even need a turbo upgrade like this to reach that?

Yes with BM3 OTS maps you will have no issues getting over 550 whp.

I emailed DAW and asked this exact question for the Flow Max and they sent over the chart below.

You can expect about 550 whp with a good custom tune, catless dp and stock fueling with 93 on a dynojet. With the previous version this was only possible on E30.

Thank you for sharing. I think this is the route I will go. Also will add a high flow fuel pump or secondary (still learning so not 100% sure) and larger coolers.

So I have PI with 1050x injectors and an ecutek tune right now. I don't plan to upgrade my trans as it's daily so 600-620 whp and 550-575 toque is all I am looking for. I assume with new Ultra Flow R I will be limited on fuel since I still have the stock LPFP. Can it still handle E60-E70 or will I be limited to E50?

Great question. I’m still a little confused on this. What’s PI? I’ve read where some guys add extra injectors to help with fueling. I was curious if just going with bigger injectors would fix that when using the boost.
