yeah, the difference is the image; the GR/GR Sport models differentiate themselves more visually from standard cars and the marketing generally follows suit. then you have the GRMN versions which are typically fairly impressive and further differentiate themselves more towards the race aesthetic and have the special badge.

I will say the G tuned vans etc are kind of silly, but they're also not using the GR badge, instead opting for G's "Toyota G Sports"

There just needs to be more differentiation between 'F' and F Sport

As far as TRD, I think it should just be kept specifically to higher trim cars and not something like TRD Sport, because as you said then it will be plastered all over everything just like the Lexus'. I look to how Nissan handles Nismo models as an ideal use case here.
Agreed. The Nismo situation would be ideal, but I'm guessing with a TRD Avalon on the way, we shouldn't be expecting ideal. :p

@A70TTR, do you if any aftermarket companies are planning on making body kits to make the car look more like the FT1? Front bumper, see through hood, mirrors, wing, and etc?

I'm not aware of anything of the sort.

@A70TTR or anyone else that wants to throw their .02 cents in....what do you think is going to happen to the value of 93+ supra's in the U.S market as far as value. With the Jdm and Canadian supra's that will be imported, and the release of the new A90, do you think prices for LHD Supra's will stay where they are at, go higher or lower? I'm just curious as to what you guys think.

As far as values are concerned, I believe the A90 will have a negative effect on A80 values overall, at least short term.

I base this entirely on lesser demand...

Won't they be buying MK4s for the JZ swaps?
Buying an entire MK4 for a motor swap is the least economical way of going about the swap.

Id also like to add that there will only be a handful of people doing so for the first several years, mostly performance companies trying to get their name out there.
