Welcome, same here haven't used a forum in 10 years roughly - this one is fairly active, primarily for modified Supra related threads, and about 3.5 million "JB4" threads from what I've experienced, but also general Supra info and a few nice off topic / lounge threads.Hi all, just picked up my 23 premium, AZ, 6MT 4 or 5 weeks ago. I'm in the San Diego area. Long time vintage vw enthusiast. Owned a couple StarQuests. Had a few subies the last decade and a half. I'm no purists and mostly a car lover but I definitely don't love them all. This is my first "brand new" ride and I don't know as much about it as I'd like.....yet. New to the bmw world so I figured I should join this forum for obvious reasons. Btw, I don't think I've posted on an actual car forum let alone made an account and navigated one in at least a decade, maybe more. FB kind of killed them or tried to I suppose. Glad to see this mk5 community forum looks pretty active.
Anyway, if you're in San Diego, maybe I'll see you around.
P.S. are there any public Zupra meet n' greets established in SD or do people just do private meet ups, cars n coffee, ect?
Any mk5 discord servers out there?
I'm a troglodyte I suppose, but I've always hated FB groups for information I really care about. FB is good for funny stuff of transient value. But something I want to research and possibly come back to later I like the concrete nature of a forum. As for the number of JB4 threads, I'm pretty sure there's more oil threads.FB kind of killed them or tried to I suppose.
Welcome back. Curious to know what's with the covered parking sensors up front?Hello, previous member that left and came back under this name, some of you may recognize the car. Happy to be here.

Howdy! You're going to have a ton of fun on those Arizona roads; combination of flat flat and mountainy. I recommend a radar detector that can remind you of speed cameras (I think those are still legal in AZ). And wives love the random useless k-band beeps.Anyways wanted to say hi!
