Did you try the regular Stage 2 map or multimap where the burbles are set to OEM levels? To each their own, but the burbles get annoying after a while. Burbles are mild levels of manufactured detonation. There could be build up of unburnt fuel or other build up in the manifold, pipes, etc?AGG Stage 2
Bm3 obd wifi adapter is garbage. After following all instructions on their website on how to set up the adapter, I still have to wait a couple of minutes to fully connect to the car. That is one example. What connectivity issue do you have? The one where your battery is low and giving you issues? Like I said, operator issues.
Definitely agree with you there. All the wifi connectors are garbage. ProTool and XHP both suck dick at connecting.Bm3 obd wifi adapter is garbage. I've had no issues. I log all my track sessions and as long as you go through the correct steps, it works just fine. Just yesterday I logged all 7 sessions without issue.Bm3 obd wifi adapter is garbage. Okay, good luck. What makes me unconvinced that its a battery issue is that I just flashed to the newest map version 2.5 and the ride is not smooth but when I go back to 2.4 its smooth. Another thing is that there are no pops in the 2.4 version on ots settings but there are pops and burbles on the 2.5.
dude.... even your scan showed your battery failure. BMW batteries are finnicky. It seems to be recurring ignorance for many to not care for the BMW AGM batteries. I can't fathom why.. there is so much documentation about how BMW electronics, alternator and batteries work.. stop ignoring it.What makes me unconvinced that its a battery issue is that I just flashed to the newest map version 2.5 and the ride is not smooth but when I go back to 2.4 its smooth. I’m not sure. I’m a little confused. Are you trying to say it’s his BATTERY? You’re not real clear. Just wanting to make sure I’m understanding you. So you think he should buy a new BATTRERY????I've had no issues. I log all my track sessions and as long as you go through the correct steps, it works just fine. I would still try and fix the root cause of your issues, your battery.
Flashing to the old map fixes half the problem. It is smoother than the newer version but does not pop and crackle even when I turn on the burbles on.BM3 WiFi connections work fast and smooth once you set your network settings for the WiFi network as they suggest. Connects in seconds after that.
I think what others are saying is it COULD be the battery. Having a code that states you should replace the battery means, you should replace the battery. Regardless if it fixes the issue as it will cause headaches down the road.
If flashing the old map fixes it, then you don’t have any worries though right?
Probably not used to the throttle mapping on the OTS 93 after a while. It's really twitchy, especially in 2nd gear(?)Flashing to the old map fixes half the problem. It is smoother than the newer version but does not pop and crackle even when I turn on the burbles on.
Yes exactly what happened to me!! When I just downloaded the new updated OTS map stage 2 91 (AGG) version 2.5 which has released on 15 Aug 2023 as it shown in BM3. There is a sudden RPM jump then back to normal and the car pops suddenly even though the burbles are (OFF). I knew there were an issue with the new version I noticed it immediately. Unfortunately, I tried to reflash agian and again but it’s the same thing with the new updated OTS Map. I think I’m going to reflash the older version of the OTS stage 2 map.Hey @XtremeMaC, I just tried your suggestion and the weird pops came back unfortunately. The yanking and rough ride is DEFINITELY there and noticeable. The car would drive and there is a sudden jump in the rpm then back to normal rpm. I have checked if the car threw a code and got this.

Power management: battery has fallen below the upper starting limit.
Could that possibly be a bad battery due to 2 months of storage and is the reason for the yanking?
