Hi all, I hope this post finds you in good health. As the title states, I'm wondering about Maxton design's claims of aero functionality. Specifically on their front splitter. I'm interested in picking up either the V1, V2, or Street Pro. Do they actually provide some form of aerodynamic benefit as they claim on their listings? And if so which one would provide the most benefit?

Do they do something? Sure, maybe. Do they do a lot? Probably not.
Thanks for the input Razor. I'm just thankful they do something because they don't cost a lot haha. Which one do you think "not a lot" splitters do you think does the most?

If they do anything, you won't notice regardless of which one you choose. If you want functionality, then you gotta be ready to spend big bucks on aggressive track splitters. That said, the maxton V2 is one of my favorite lips on this car when wrapped in matte black or xpel stealth to match the plastics. It looks like it comes from the factory. Plus you don't feel too bad when you scrape because they can be had for under 200. Also pretty durable!

I have the V2 on my car - its cheap, you can remove the maxton sticker, and it looks almost OEM and fixes the overbite of the car look from the factory.

I doubt it will help you with front end grip while you are drifting around the whole foods parking lot :)

If you are just driving on the street, get whatever you want.
Planning to track it. The goal is a sort of budget track car that's still good for dailying.

Wont help You on track. The Supra is a budget track weapon bone stock. Spend the money on seat time Buy what you want for looks But until you have a proven wind tunnel and computer modeled aero package like Verus the effects on car are basically nil

Seat time spent on track days > a splitter. Unless you happen to want it for looks, any will do. I’m personally running a sayber lip + their race splitter with Verus side skirts and a voltex swan neck type 10. Does it benefit me? Probably in the slightest bit next to none being an intermediate track goer. Fast bois will benefit from it far greater than I ever will but mines for aesthetic with function down the line when I know how to optimize it or make use of it. Both of which aren’t wind tunneled etc and have no data at all but the name of the brand. (Yes voltex can make good aero and there has been data in the past on different cars, but haven’t seen any on our car).

I have maxton v2 splitter only to protect under the bumper. nothing more.
The 3 OEM bumper pieces are cheaper than the maxton combined
