Almost at the 1 year mark in one week, and no MT in sight at the two dealerships I’m “#1” at. Also including searching across the country from Toyota inventory search. I know Toyota cut production numbers for Supra but sheesh, worried I may wait almost 2 years and not find one. Holding strong brothers
I know it sucks, but it's going to be worth it when you get one. I often forget just how lucky I am to have what I do, and got a hell of a reminder when I attended a cousin's wedding two weeks ago. The car was the talk of the day outside the reception clubhouse, despite a Cayman, Crossfire SRT-6, and a one-week-old AUDI RS3 sitting next to it.

After reading posts on this forum, I think I need to be a bit more specific. Not only do I have a deposit down, but I also have a vin number. I did not put down a deposit just to get on a list. My car has been allocated and is in the build phase. :D

When I picked up mine from Walnut Creek (CA) last month, the sales guy said it was only the 2nd MT they received so far.

Based on Toyota's sales figures, production has slowed down quite a bit for the Supra - they only sold 476 in Q3 '23 (and apparently about half are MT)!

When I look into the numbers and statements Toyota made in the last year since the MT was announced, I would argue production for the MT was not cut and it’s right in line with expectations from Toyota; only supply/production of the AT for the US market was cut.

For the MT, this is what happens when people (like me and assuming you) only became interested in buying the Supra once the MT was announced. Pent up MT demand that’s been there since the Supra was released in 2020 + Covid: life can be cut short YOLO + end of ICE/MT fears have summed it up in my guess-timation. I’ve been waiting as long as you, hopefully you get yours!

14 months later... worth it

I still can't believe I own this.
Every moment that I am not spending time driving and enjoying it feels like a chore and a drag.

I hope everyone is able to get theirs as soon as possible. Best of luck fellas.

I spent months searching and checking Toyota inventory. The other day I saw a Red 3.0 Premium MT pop... up literally 30 minutes before I checked that day. Thankfully I was the first person to call in about it. It's currently in the build phase. I really wanted hazelnut interior, but the odds of a Red MT with hazelnut interior were very low, so I jumped on it.

That’s the way to do it! And zip code search out if others don’t want to wait. Great job man ??

how are you checking Toyota inventory if you don’t mind? I have just been stalking all of the car selling apps and sites, calling dealers, have a few deposits out there at dealers that claim no market adjustment. But every dealer I call that has a 23 posted for sale says it’s already sold. Why it is posted!?
then of course all of the postings for 2024’s which they don’t have

Do an inventory search using zips codes every 250 miles away from your location. It’s in the upper right hand corner of the Toyota.com website.

I called or messaged a few and had the same results. I think they are either a bit slow to delete their ad or they want you to send $500 to get on their list.

Updated my vote. Put a deposit down on the allocation on May 4th, and picked up the car on September 30th.
Nice! Your car must have been on the same boat as mine. It hit port on the 6th of September. I was supposed to get it on the 30th but I was sick. So the dealer got a transport truck and brought it straight to my front door. Signed paperwork in my house. Pictures do this car no justice. When the guy pulled it off the trailer I just smiled like a little kid about to get an Ice Cream. Looks so much better in person.

https://www.supramkv.com/threads/toyota-allocation-tracker.18421/post-307096 Try the allocation spreadsheets. I found this one on Reddit in a different Toyota vehicle subreddit.
