Dog Proofing a Supra / Dog in Supra

I strap him in a elevated pet boost seat I got on Amazon that has an adjustable security tether to his dog harness ..He seems to like driving in the Supra!

I do something similar.

1st. I use a waterproof blanket which I drape over the seat and secure by moving seat forward and letting the slack catch behind the seat and sway bar when moving the seat back.

2nd. I install a secure pet travel bed that utilizes the seatbelt to secure the bed to the seat firmly.

3rd. I fasten my copilot down to the travel bed, keeping a short leash so he cant touch door trim, scratch center area, seat, dash, etc.

I have a small sized dog that could fit in the rear hatch space, though by law (and his safety) I'd want to tether him. Are there any anchors in that hatch space to tether a small dog? I've seen in some photos that there are these little metal loops for a catch net to secure loose items in the rear, would this be enough for a small dog or is that metal hoop just not substantial enough?

These are pics of my German Shepherd/Husky, Ryker. I just put a towel down on the seat and he would ride shotgun . Unfortunately, I found out in August he had kidney cancer and I had to put him down in the middle of September. Poor guy wasn't even 2 years old. His 2nd birthday is in November. He loved the Supra and people would lose their minds at him poking his head out the passenger side window. Nothing cooler than a bad ass pup in a bad ass ride cruising down the highway

We have a pure Siberian and a Husky Shepherd mix. They're awesome and they love drives, but thats what the 4Runner is for. This guy's fur is all over the Supra and he has never been in it.

My baby boy Troy (Basenji) was in the same boat for enlarged spleen and tumor. He was a great one and I love him so much! He was my wife's dog but this little boy was something else. Had to put him down a few weeks ago but glad he was able to experience the Supra for a few months.

yeah man, he was like my kid. Fuck cancer for sure.
