It still blows my mind that my local ones are all marked up 25-35k for the 45th, and all I had to do was drive 150 miles away - but then local to a smaller city in my area to snag mine at msrp. i haven't yet really just driven it for pleasure yet, and I honestly think it's because I absolutely hate having an entirely stock car and this thing is just too damn quiet.

Like maybe my loudness meter is getting broken, but this car sounds wimpy stock, at least mine does.

A semi tacky wing and a sticker with a dope strut brace for 25k. They all have that on their show room floor for a bit.

2024 Supra 45th, Mikan 2008 Mazda MX5 PRHT manual
A tale of woe and happiness, all within 2 days:
I thought I struck gold with a 2024 Blue Supra 3.0 Auto for MSRP at a dealership in Arizona. When I contacted them, a salesguy told me that they don't accept reservations, so I'd better fly there the next day. I told him that I couldn't fly there on such short notice, but that in two days, I could swing it.
He then told me that a manager authorized the salesguy to pay for my flight and Uber trip to the dealership. The caveat was that if someone else made an appointment on Thursday and purchased the Supra the day before I would fly there, then I'd be out of luck.

Thursday morning I received a call from one of the managers at the dealership, verifying that I would buy the flight ticket at 9:00, Arizona time if I hadn't received word of another buyer by closing time. Things were looking up again when the salesguy asked me to call him after lunch. When I did, he told me that I needed to bring a bank check for the deposit and to fill out some forms. That afternoon, I secured the bank check. (Oddly, the salesguy told me that the interest rate would be 8.99%, even before they ran a credit check.)

As I was walking out of the credit union, I received a text, telling me that all of a sudden, a person scheduled an appointment for the NEXT morning, about the time at which I would arrive to finalize the deal. In the text, the salesguy announced that this customer would be doubling the add-ons to $6000, vs my $3000. I was livid, as the agreement we had was that if no customer came in or set an appointment to come in on Thursday, I was clear to fly there on Friday morning.

It seems as if they were using me as a pawn to entice another potential customer to outbid me. That was the last of my communication emails and texts to this shady dealership.

That early evening, I saw that there was a local dealership with a 45th anniversary Supra, possibly scheduled to arrive soon. No ADM was shown in my search, only the MSRP. I called up the salesguy and he told me the Toyota.com info was not correct. Typical ADMs are $5000 for anniversary Supras at this dealership. However, he suggested that I make an offer. My offer was quite a bit less, but still over MSRP. The manager approved my offer but stipulated that the deal needed to go through that night. I then sprang into action, arrived at 7:40 PM and by 9:00, the Supra was washed and ready. Talk about a fast-paced rollercoaster of emotion........!
Anyway, I had a chance to drive it around, today and love the car. Of course, I made sure to keep the RPMs below 4500 and the highway speed below 80. 1200 miles of easygoing will take quite a while, but before I do too much driving, PPF will be going on, this coming Monday.

Thanks, I feel as if I am driving an exotic car. I never thought I'd like orange, but my opinion changed when I saw it.

Yes, it is often true that "He who hesitates is lost." I'm very glad I did not throw away that sudden offer.

Make sure you also look up and follow the directions for the subwoofer port fix, as well as order yourself some of those anti wind buffet pieces. It’s been only six days of ownership and I’ve already installed kr ordered to be installed

- 15% Ceramic window tint
- wind buffet fix
- Subwoofer fix
- Blendmount for my Escort Redline 360 Max
-A bunch of Rexspeed interior carbon
- Berktuning Carbon fiber/Alcantara steering wheel with orange stitching and orange center stripe in the carbon
- Berktuning alcantara/orange stitched shift boot
- Race Eng ā€œStratos Alcantara/Aluminum shift knob
- MST v2 Intake
- Active Autowerke downpipe
- Active Autowerke catback
- Swift Lowering Springs
- IND Red Start button

Short of a desire to install my MatchUp 10 DSP from my AMG to this stereo, and some Advan wheels, I’ll have this modded to perfection in no time, only leaving the big dog on the table, Femto DME unlock and ECU tuning.

So happy for you brother! She looks goooooood ?

I’ve purchased most of my cars over the phone and long distance. So I’m glad it turned out well for ya. If they ever say you have to drive (or fly ?) there and can’t secure the numbers over the phone, move on - they won’t do it period. It’s a scam.

Welcome to the club and use that free track day to really appreciate her ?

Thanks for your feedback and reminder of track days, Mark. Too many things were setting off red flags with that dealership in Phoenix, Arizona. The local one's process was so much easier, anyway. Here I am with the sales guy, Marqus who convinced me to at least try to bring the cost down. I'm glad he did.

I forgot the 45th has black calipers. I dig it. I even like the spoiler that everyone else seems to hate. Congrats!
Thanks! The calipers should be easier to look clean. I can't image how that would be if we had yellow or orange ones.
