These guys straight fucked everything up right from the start.

- no downpipe, not even gonna put catted one on it.

-overly expensive titanium exhaust. A catted downpipe and 3.5” or 4” catback would cost less

- undersized/shorter than stock rear tires. A 295/30 is super short, shorter than stock. A 305/35 would have actually increased speedometer accuracy. I noticed this as soon as I put my 305/35’s on that my GPS and speedometer were now dead on at 85mph for example when my speedometer read fast. Now it’s only going to read even more fast with their choice.

- Refusal to get the DME unlocked and tuning it proper. They instead chose a piggyback that nobody uses and are just burying their heads in the sand.

Never have I been so excited to see another manual build and subscribe to a channel on the spot, only to unsubscribe before the video was over because they clearly did zero research into their game plan.

So you don't like piggyback ECU's, neither do I I've been canning them for 25 years and tuning the ecu's on sports bikes but you're overreacting a bit here. At least they backed their decision to use one with dyno numbers. As for the exhaust mods well they did point out ad nauseum it was for the sound and not for performance or value for money. It's an infotainment video and at that level worth a look. Chill.

First, it’s awesome we literally have the same exact job..

Second, it’s well known that piggybacks don’t do too hotly on manuals, and pursuing it is something it worth it and the simple solution is just to do it the right way, unlock the DME, and let a tuner do it properly.

what job? i want the same job as everyone
Your job is to go as fast as possible for 8 seconds or until your trans taps out - sprinkled with answering all the questions on your "Ask zrk" thread . Now, give up on these crazy dreams of having everyone's else job and get back in your lane.

Not to derail, but piggybacks can do fine on MT... just takes more work. Pretty much only Jesse and I put in the effort to figure them out since these MTs are rare. But we've got the hang of it by now.

Here's mine running >4 psi over stock without any issues. Admittedly, you're gonna struggle to get more than ~450whp. But that's fine for me.

Yes all the settings are in the log, so if you're a catless MT. Go for it😉

iiiiiinreresting. When I tried to open a dialogue it seemed like i was getting blown off, so I never pushed the topic further.
Since then I’ve just been waiting to get my car in next month to get my parking sensors working before I send the DME out.

I’ve had the car since November and only had working parking sensors for maybe 10 days before they quit on me, and I would like my car fault free before digging into it.
