Due to some of the work I do, I’ll get unnecessary questioning if I ship items and receive items overseas, will femto unlocks or unlocking your post 2021 Supra ever be in the states?

Actually, yes. There is a local shop two blocks from my house right next to the Krispy Kreme that will be offering a stateside unlock. Shop is finalizing what they are going to charge for it. Should be available in two weeks. Hit me up and I might be able to get you a discount because I'm friends with the owner's nephew's college roommate's ex girlfriend's brother. Or if you find the place just tell them Spiral sent ya.

My theory, based on zero facts, like literally just my imagination, is that there's something slightly shady going on. Like a trade secret walked out the back door. And presto we have one business in the entire world that can break BMW ECUs.
Not wrong.

I’m in! Please put me on your friend’s cousin’s sister’s best friend’s waiting list. Man, I’ve been waiting for this for three and a half years now. What’s another two weeks. This is the best news ever!

Based on my discussion with well-known tuners, the unlock can be done in the States, but it will need money for R&D, time, and engineers.

Once it's available, it cannot be offered as an OBD unlock similar to the older chassis because it will get reverse-engineered within weeks. Everyone will have it, similar to what happened with the older chassis.

So, it's not worth the investment, and the big tuning companies prefer to focus on the maps instead of having Femto unlock them. Notice that Femto has agreements with the big tuning companies, which makes me think this deal works with everyone.

I thought it was mostly understood that FEMTO had a Bosch ECU insider and got the crack that way. It is definitely questionably legal how they developed the unlock, and also very unlikely anyone else gets it.

Probably stolen IP.

Hope I'm wrong!

Why can’t it be reversed engineered with the Femto unlocks?

you need the software in your hands to reverse engineer it. that's why Femto ask that everything is shipped to them and they dont sell their license to other dealers to do the unlock in-house
