So after reading this thread, I think I am going to purchase a JB4 (EWG & Bluetooth) with Fuel It for my MT Supra.

What's the most recent/updated firmware to be on for MT?

Thanks! Probably won't have everything installed for a couple of weeks. Glad to see some progress for the MT.

If someone would please provide some feedback on my log, I'd greatly appreciate it.

https://datazap.me/u/jb4/map5-test-1

The second half is a pull with VSC turned off. For some reason, JB4 app concatenated the two logs.

This is with:
  • ActiveAutowerke high flow catted downpipe
  • Tomei Expreme Type D exhaust
  • Aluminum charge pipe

Try these new duty biases to clean up throttle activity a bit

Good starting point for high flow DPs

These are the settings I typically recommend for catless cars nowadays:

FF = 25

About to receive my JB4 appreciate this thread greatly!

Automatic '23, Running 93 Shell up in Canada (access to 94 Petro too if logs show fuel is bad), only mod is a Catless DP (MXP Catless Downpipe).

Should I pre-set these settings shared above ahead of time for the first log run, or the duty bias adjustments below from your first post, or just do everything default Map 1? + 23 boost failsafe.

I'm new to this stuff/don't wanna blow anything lol, I assume VSC fully off for logging? I do drive the car on sport traction most of the time. Thank you!

Do you know where to stay up to date with the firmware? I’m also looking into getting this soon

Honestly either of those duty settings ware good starting point for catless, with the top being with FF25 and the bottom with FF40. Kind of equate to the same FF curve in the logs. Yes, you should input these for a baseline. Catless will 100% need wastegate tuning.

Go to the firmware menu in the app while connected to the JB4 and you can flash V22 or V23 right from there. Make sure you have good connection/battery.

Why such a large underboost? You have him targeting +9 but only only getting +5 out of it because the PID is fully maxed (PID gain of 20 equates to WGDC = FF +/- 8). Why not have him under boost by 2psi (target +7) with a dutybias/ff that is slightly higher?

My concern is if he were to turn wg adaption back on, they might get wildly different boost numbers from pull to pull.

Car will stutter otherwise :) Similar issue to MT cars when you have it turned up this much.

ECU_PSI is right where I want it, I don't pay so much attention to DME_BT anymore on additive maps. WG adaption will stay off.

This run was done in as high of IATs as the car will ever see, so these are the highest boost values it should run. You can actually see the JB4 switch to a +6 psi limit as it goes into 6th (presumably an IAT safety of some sort that kicks in at 140 F). In cooler temps, it runs 23-24 psi and more aggressive timing.

The car is absolutely dialed. Keep in mind that log was done with 95 degree temps and a heat index of around 105. DA 3400.

Very impressive for stock turbo. Meth'd up! :headbang:

Man gotta say meth is looking real tempting hahaaha
Would you recommend the AEM kit or the snow performance? Price difference is huge so not gonna spend the extra cash if it’s the same thing essentially.
