Just to throw this out there, I have a set of MCS 2way adjustable shocks that are valved for stock springs that I was going to use for BS class autocross but I'm going a different way with my build. If you're interested in them, shoot me a DM.
Appreciate it, if I was going to autocross this car for another season, I'd likely take you up on buying them but I'm trying to pivot away from autocross, so I'll probably be going with a coilover.

Depending on how much he is selling them for, you can easily get them revalved for normal coilover springs. Might not be worth it though depending on the price.

There is new splitter in the works from Racebred, tunneled, with variable widths aviable, with optional endplates, with some df charts provied. Said to be couple more weeks away.

Man that looks nice! I‘d break that sucker so quick on track. Do they make those in tear off versions? ?

Thanks i3igpete!

I've done one track day with the stock pads/rotors in this car and yeah they actually did seem to hold up ok.

I'm a big fan of Brembo LCF 600 Plus personally for brake fluid.

Yah I'd prefer Verkline over SPL but their LCA's seem to be perpetually out of stock, and I'd prefer an LCA over an adjustable top hat to get the desired neg camber personally.

RE: Verkline -- I ordered these last week and they're going on today. MUCH beefier than the SPL arms I had on my previous Supra. They're currently showing 2 in stock.

I have a set still in box beside me...haven't opened them yet. Thanks for sharing. I'm liking the decision to go Verlkine more and more.

Yes 18x11 +40 works without spacers with coilovers. I would suggest a 35 in a 295. 40 gets a little tall. You can run 30 too, I just found to have less forward accel traction and the gearing gets a little weird depending on the track.

Sway bars are going to be setup and personal preference. If you look them as a tuning aid, and not a main modifier then you are off to a good start.

18x11 +40 with 295/35/18 RE71RS on my supra for reference:

Who here gets happy when Bryan posts pics of his car :-D. I'm seriously considering a set of those same 18x11 Hypergrams for my car as I am doing some other upgrades (coilovers, LCAs). I'd need to do some horse trading to make it happen, though.

I have (6) 18x10.5 et 35 TSW Kemora, all with FRESH 275 RE71RS on them. 4 of them have 900 miles on them and 2 have never been driven on. Kinda regretting buying the 4 new tires after One Lap, but the tires on the car were treacherous in the rain, and I didn't want to white-knuckle drive in the rain in the drive back home to MD. The drive ended up bone dry...so I would have been OK, but that's hindsight for ya.

I recently got hit with a summer monsoon on the highway on the way home from the track with 5 track day old RE71RS (basically EOL) and omg that was some hairy sh*t. I had to put my hazards on and slow to 40-45 mph and it STILL felt sketchy AF. Luckily there weren't many people on the highway at the time. I would not recommend.

For all the track junkies, any of you get vibrations from the rotors after a while on track?

Installed the Project My Club Racer and went to my first track day, and after 10 minutes of lapping I get horrible vibration under braking and always getting worst...

Went to the track shop, asked them to change the brake fluid and bleed the system, still has not fixed the issue...

One instrctutor emitted the hypothesis that there might me an issue with the rotors since the hat in aluminium and the crown steel (but the rotor is not floating), they do not react to heat the same way, so a floating rotor could fix the issue....

What do you guys think? Before spending thousands on floating rotors, I'd like to see if some of you guys using OEM rotors experienced the same thing?

My initial theory was air un the braking system, I thought I might have fucked up something when I changed the fluid, but after 2 fluid change, still not fixed...

Thanks for your inputs!

Yep, mine did that since day 1 on PMUs. I think it was a beddng issue. The more track days I went to, the better it got but still does it once they warm up. On this last track day, I barely even noticed it. Switching to Hawk this time around and will see what happens.

Got the Verkline arms on and the car aligned today. I forgot to take a pic of the outcome but I recall we ended up with front -2.5° camber, ~8° caster, 0 toe, rear -2.5° and .10 total toe. The rear camber may be a bit excessive but I'll sort that out on track. I was hoping to get at least -3° up front but we were running out of threads on the tie rod ends so backed it down (against my worse judgement). This is 100% stock except the front LCA. As I expected it really woke the car up just hooning it around, so excited to get this thing on track. This is just a baseline so I'll adjust after I have some lap data to work with.

Also deleted the CDV which I would 100% recommend. The difference is not dramatic, but definitely worth the small effort; especially the 1-2 shift (which doesn't matter on track..). Also the first time I've encountered a shared fluid reservoir for brakes and clutch, so there's that.. Pro tip: make sure you keep the reservoir topped up to the brim when bleeding the clutch.

Same thing on the 60/30s. But I also street drive, so my material buildup is causing the vibrations.

Had the same setup on mine and I ended up rubbing my inner hood skin pretty badly. But I'm also very aggressive with my compression zone turns. It's me, I'm the issue.
