Ran the supercar 3 on my GT4 for 2 summers instead of the stock Cup 2. I have nothing but good things to say about the tire.

For sure slower that the Bridgestone, but more consistent and lasts longer. A solid bet for your use case IMO
I just shredded my stock michellin pss tires on one weekend at Pocono Raceway.

I was recommended the Bridgestone RE-71RS, but they seem out of stock everywere :(

I am thinking about the Sport Cup 2 tires, but without getting better camber I think I will waste those in less than 12 heat cycles...

Tangential question, how have you felt about the downforce from your rear wing? Does it feel like the balance is a little better?

Never really liked the Cup2, really hard to keep them consistent and are very expensive.

i like the balance a lot. I thought i might need some more downforce at the front to compensate , but i now like it just as it is. Around fast corners it feels great when throttle steering.

Ok, I double checked and figured out how I got there. When on the page that shows the battery info, scroll up and click in/select the heading '?(Detailed info)' and then it will give you the other options.
Awesome, thanks.

would something like the twisted tuning diff lockdown kit make bushing replacement irrelevant?

  • Cutting the hood and adding triple seven GT4-style vent and eventually fender vents VS:
  • Getting a full carbon hood like the Seibon TV-Style?
been catching up on racelouver youtube channel and the hood they tested in this video is actually very similar to the TV style

quick ask, can anyone with a triple seven vent measure the dimensions? getting tired of waiting to see if this thing will ever come back and the RaceLouver one is 30x9.

if you don't fix your alignment the ao52s might wear through the outside in a single day

It's a track-dependent tire issue, not camber. I've failed PSS and PS4S in the exact same way on cars with solid track alignments. There's not enough sidewall strength so they roll over and peel the shoulders off.
