Yes it's hard to beat the sound of a V8 of any kind. The first thing my FIL said the first time he heard the Supra start up was "it's no V8 in the sound department is it". He was right. Like a V twin Ducati compared to a Japanese in line 4. Worlds apart in the sound.

I follow all of the obscure racing around the world and Toyota with this Supra platform is always in the top 5. I could see a re-badged LC with a Supra name tag on it someday. The market can support a $125K Supra on that chassis. 100% toyota! Then what would people bitch at on this forum. The Supra was a very expensive car in 1979 compared to most. Ford put the Mustang tag on that EV which is very different. They paid to brand name the "Supra", they will use it going forward.

I totally agree with you. The funny thing is people will still find a way to complain. That’s it’s not as affordable as a GR 86, why this or that, etc
