Hey guys was hoping for some help here
2020 m340i
-bms intake
-94 octane
-jb4

I’ve been trying to run map 1 but car seems to break up top . So I did a couple Map 0 logs and see a boost is higher than normal ..
I’ve bought this car at auction and was wondering is it possible this g20 m340 was tuned ?? Down pipe looks stock etc ..

please let me know thanks in advance see

Here are two attached logs on MAP zero

I figured Id post here since the m340i runs higher boost like the Supra AT

EWG connector comes in tomorrow any settings like FF, map I should run ?

usine 94 octane ( sunoco stock DP , bms intake)

Map 1 probably felt better since timing fell off hard at 5500 on map 2. Try this Map 6 that tapers off boost on the upper end a bit to run better timing

Also would probably drop FF a bit (~2-3) and see if it improves the throttle cuts.

you would see power gains just putting 2-3 gal of E in the tank right now on Map 2





Hey @ColonelAdama, back again with another log. I used your Map 6 settings with my stock cat back and things felt good. I then installed an SP1R and the logs didn’t feel too different but I always meant to come back and check in again. I recently took a log, and while low on gas I threw in some E because I misremembered and thought you said I could throw in E on Map 6 and you said Map 2. I’d like to have a Map 6 that runs well on 93, but can handle some E if I need it. Can you take a look at this ~E30 datalog with the SP1R and tell me what you think? I’ll be updating to V24 to try any revision you give me.

Can you take a look at this ~E30 datalog with the SP1R and tell me what you think? I’ll be updating to V24 to try any revision you give me.
Looks great to me, and I would say go ahead and add more boost but the trims signal is not working correctly. maybe another log? glitched out or something

Also go ahead and drop FF by 2. Clean up that throttle a little

also is this an MT?? tuning is behaving more like an AT car but I see the shifts

after you install EWG post up a map 1 and map 2 log and we can go from there. stock dp cars start at default 50 for FF and duty bias

I can tell you how much boost to add based on how the trims looks if it datalogs properly, so I'd need to see another log

Looking back, all of my logs are at 25... The only reason I can think of is because both of my O2 sensors are disconnected, could this be it? Or is there a loose JB4 connection somewhere and I shouldn't need to reinstall an O2 sensor with my catless DP?

I am sure, I wave at it every time I pass by my DP in the garage /s

Check your plugs and send a log after
I installed the pre-cat O2, post-cat O2 still uninstalled (let me know if this should change). I thought with the catless DP the O2 readings don't matter since it will throw a code regardless so I left them on my old DP since I wasn't using any O2 spacers. What really convinced me is my DP came with the little caps for the O2 ports and so I'm like ahh yeah I don't need those things plugged in anymore. :doh:

Trims are reading again, car definitely feels like it's making more power, so that + cold weather meant sideways action every pull. Who knew accurate fueling was important? I have the mod list in the description with the log. I can take a better log this weekend when it's warmer but this is the best I can do for the next few cold days.
