I agree, I think that fans of the platform and the aftermarket have done well to be at or beyond the performance that this will offer although this really does seem like a pretty good attempt on the part of Toyota to make functional and effective changes to the car for a high performance version that’s not a factory race car. I would definitely buy this if the opportunity presents itself, but not because I think it’s better than my strat blue speedpig.

I think for me the thing that made me post the link is that this is the first literature I’ve personally seen that is better than speculation about the end of production for the current Supra and that makes me emotional.

yeah i saw that, I think they're using the m sport fan thats been mentioned before ( 17428666819 ) a nice upgrade with proven reliability, just makes me wish they'd done this in the first place. but yeah, I've been unsuccessful trying to find a used one on ebay for the last few months. the additional radiator they mention is probably too much complexity to retrofit, IMO.

And since I’ve also added camber plates, springs, and a front bar I guess that means I’ve already acquired the “partially upgraded limited edition”. But at a substantial discount. I need to change my signature.

Sad to see it go as well, but the language here gives me hope that there will be a Mk. VI. Maybe even with less BMW and more Toyota, though I wouldn’t be mad if the B58 sticks around or it goes by the wayside for the S58.

They upgraded the cooling with better radiator fan - do I undertand orrectly they may have used 1000W on from GT4 instead of stock 850W? What U think? Was pondering this mod for mine too.

The 1000w fan is found on road cars as well. M240i/M340i/M440i have it as their cooling package. All G-Series full M cars have it. Even the lowly 330e has it. I bought a used one off a 330e.
