Very interesting thread. I'm going to read through it even if it seems a little more informative for the MT! This is my late October run with only the jb4 and catless dp. 100-200 run which is (62-124)


I should probably get a JesseDaBears tune, I feel a lot of turbo surge...

Need to get one without that -2 slope to really get a good idea what it’s doing sadly

How safe/consistent is blending ethanol yourself for map 2 & 4 without using a flex fuel kit? I plan to go PI/visconti reflex in the near future but I would like to run some ethanol in the interim with the jb4 I already have. I don’t think a flex fuel kit would be worth it since at a minimum I’d have to upgrade the harness to move to PI/reflex

Has anyone swapped out their board for this fuel pressure upgrade board? What are the advantages? I have a MT so I’m wondering if it’s worth it. https://burgertuning.com/collection...ts/s58-and-b58_gen2_fuel_pressure_upgrade_kit
just did mine today but I’m only running map2 on 91 Oct right now. I want to throw E-85 mix in and run maybe map 4 or 5 but not sure if I need to actually get the custom tune first. Anyone know what safe octane/mix to run on the built in JB4 maps with the FP upgrade?

It will target 26psi but really it runs more like 24-25. You can start on map 4 with anywhere E30-40 with FOL at 60. If it all looks good you can try map 5

This is my map 4 log. It isnt liking something. Its pulling boost and then getting back on it over and over without me lifting the pedal. This is 2 runs of a 3rd gear 2k RPM log.

From the looks of your car, I’d say sheā€˜s running a bit hot ? But I’m no Colonel either. I wouldn’t even make rank of private nor pass JB4 boot camp.
