That's rich coming from you.

Or are unsubstantiated opinions okay - just so long as they're yours.

lol
Yea... i think you really need to understand where your place is when you respond to OG's like that. Pretty sure razorlab has been here since the Dawn of time and is basically one of the Gandalf's on this forum. Answering stupid questions from people like me and others that come and go on this platform. You can understand why anyone would get Jaded after awhile.

Why don’t you two guys try it out and find out for yourself instead of just talking theory.
I likely will when I get to that point. You're also talking theory though, unless you've tested flow and pressure across other cores. I definitely enjoy the data you post, but conjecture is still conjecture, and no one is above making assumptions occasionally.

I've mounted radiators in the rear of cars on oem water pumps and had them come out fine (and by fine I mean hold 600+ hp in check on a 2.5 liter). I definitely spent a lot of time looking at belt driven and electric pumps to consider which way to go, and after a lot of reading I simply started doing instead of worrying about theory and figured out it really is head height of water that matters to pumps over straight volume.

No one is infallible, and to assume so is not the best way to go faster. He's added a ton of useful information, and I'm glad for that. But again, just because someone says "also if it's much larger, it could be worse, as the OEM water pump won't be able to keep up with the volume" without data doesn't mean it might not also succeed :)

Not a Corvette.

Please don’t put in quotes something I never said.

I look forward to your findings. Since your username is “subydude”, it should be interesting at the least.

I'm sorry, I'll fix it to "also if it's much larger, it could be worse, as the OEM water pump won't be able to keep up with the volume".

Do you have data to back up your claim that it won't be able to keep up with the volume?

Epic response! ? Believe it or not, a Wagner (pronounced Vâgner?) is still on my want list. I can see where Bryan is trying to keep all the extra fluff out. At one time, this was a manifold thread for the Supra ?
