That would probably be cheaper, but still wouldn't really get around tariffs if it's coming in from CN.Just buy it from Alibaba next time. Its just a valvetronic rebrand like most after market parts..
Legit question, you seeing any increased prices? I haven’t yet & still buyingThat would probably be cheaper, but still wouldn't really get around tariffs if it's coming in from CN.
Not yet but I haven’t had to buy anything recently. I have spares for my rotors and pads already, spare hubs, spare lug studs, and a ton of oil. Next year might be painful…Legit question, you seeing any increased prices? I haven’t yet & still buyingfrom all over. Even the random Toyota Supra search (kidding myself I’m going to trade mine in) show the prices to be the same

I've spent hundreds on tariffs already buying parts for the Supra. Brake kit I want to buy increased 5% because of tariffs. The suspension has a 5% tariff tacked onto the price..Legit question, you seeing any increased prices? I haven’t yet & still buyingfrom all over. I ordered some wheels but barely dodged the tariffs because I paid before it finalized. They haven’t brought it upI've spent hundreds on tariffs already buying parts for the Supra. Brake kit I want to buy increased 5% because of tariffs. The suspension has a 5% tariff tacked onto the price..
I ordered some parts recently from Japan and UPS sent me a bill for the tariff. So tariffs on directly imported goods defintely exist.I ordered some wheels but barely dodged the tariffs because I paid before it finalized. They haven’t brought it upso neither will I.
Now if you go on the site there is a extra 10% cost noted Tarrif
Wait.. Tariffs are paid by the US customer directly? That's actually hilarious.I ordered some parts recently from Japan and UPS sent me a bill for the tariff. So tariffs on directly imported goods defintely exist.
He’s the one who directly imported it, so yea the tariff bill directly goes to him. If it’s a business that imported the goods, they eat the bill.Wait.. Tariffs are paid by the US customer directly? That's actually hilarious.![]()
Fixed that for you. He’s the one who directly imported it, so yea the tariff bill directly goes to him. If it’s a business that imported the goods, they pass the bill on to the customer.
Love it
If I could do it all over again, I’d definitely get one with a valveI have the Ark DTS exhaust. Looks great, sounds great, and uses the OEM valve. But i'm going to be swapping it out for something lighter as the car transitions to 90% track 10% street. Still need something that can work occasionally on the street, so will likely still want the valve.
Best exhaust i can think of that. meets that criteria that also happens to be somewhat competitively priced is the Titan Motorsports titanium exhaust. It's about 30lbs lighter than OEM.
I don't know if it'll work with the Verus diffuser though, which is also a prerequisite. They haven't bothered responding to my email either.
