No it does not, there was one member that modded the plate I think to make it work. but no, this was not designed with that plate in mind.

Just an observation for those of you with poly subframe bushings (probably worse for solid), this brace added a moderately loud gear whine on my car, enough to hear it over music. It's probably fine for a track car but it's too much for my taste.

Is this with just the rear brace or with the front brackets too?

I'm curious of others have experienced it too?

Hello, this information is literally in the product notes on the product description. NVH will increase with any Diff brace if upgraded poly or solid subframe bushings

its because OEM sub bushings are designed to isolate the subframe from the actual chassis of the car.

This is also normal with upgrading almost any drivetrain mount from OEM, some NVH will increase.

I also think I mentioned it somewhere in the
This thread too. But it could have been elsewhere.

Yep, the real drivetrain and chassis engineers employed by manufacturers don't just sit at a desk and dream up a bushing grade they think will work on a road car they exhaustively test what they specify and review hard data before they sign off on the compound they put into the production car. I love the gear whines ok as long as the radio is turned up comment in a previous post. As usual the "engineering detail" is where the complexity is. Detailed engineering reasoning is what's generally missing in the aftermarket.

OEM's main goal, is comfort from the factory. Thats why bushings, mounts and things of that nature tend to be of softer compounds.

Tradeoff is, things move around quite a bit, hich is not always ideal better performance characteristics.

There will always be a give or take with performance vs comfortability.

Not trying to bash your brace, I was just adding relevant information for others, and no it wasn't listed in the products notes until recently ;).

That's what the volume knob is there for

I believe this is also because the kit requires you to remove the Tuned Mass Damper.

With that said, I didn't initially notice the gear whine after installing it, since I was always listening to music while driving. But after adding an intake earlier this year, I've started driving without music more often to appreciate the intake's sound, which has made the whine more noticeable.... 😅

New for 2026.....

Have you considered adding a small gusset above the narrow section for the right lower mounting point? Which FEA software are you using to model it?

Looks like it could be a weak point.
