either a coincidence or I harassed MHD enough to disable "clutch protection" torque limiters on MT cars this week

not sure if in OTS yet, but this makes it a lot easier for my custom tuning.

They probably added it because I found it across a bunch of BIN files and posted about it on the MHD DIY FB group that they are active in. haha. Doesn't really matter as I am happy to help when I can.

MHD should put you on the payroll with the amount of time you've invested in improving the platform.

They actually reached out to me but I told them that nothing ruins passions faster than formal expectations.

Weather has been unusually snowy and icy this winter so haven't had many opportunities to drive the Supra the last month. Got to enjoy a nice 15 minutes before another 262144 limp mode ruined my special occasion.

MHDs last response was "have you tried shifting better?" Lol

At least we have @razorlab , the absolute GOAT of MHD DIY helping me learn, so my custom map should be ready to test this week.

To my MT guys, dont waste your money on a OTS map pack. Maybe if you are catted you will have better luck, but save yourself the headache and go custom. Pretty much killed my last few opportunities to enjoy the car this winter.

I just reached out to him last night. I’m gonna flash my car today. My dme comes back today.
We shall see what happens. I’d like to learn the software myself. I knew haltech really well, but the mhd is a lot different lol.

It definitely takes some time to get used to but you would be surprised how much easier MHD+ boost control makes it once you've raised/removed 100 limiters (a quarter of the them being MT-specific and not defined in the MHD xdf)

Well I flashed stage 2 93 and same issue.
Quick as hell at first. Then I feel it pull 50% power and feel stock.
Can re flash same map and works but happens again.
Looks like custom map will be needed.
91 stage 2 seems to work fine.
