260F is fine. 275F+ for extended periods is when you have to start reeling yourself in.

I have hit 280F a couple times and did oil tests, no issues. However, I do run the infamous 5w40 oil that hard parkers like @concept think will cause space and time to fold upon itself.

Also, a tune can tweak all the coolant targets which will also help with oil cooling/not cooling.

Over the past 2 or so weeks I have been doing stuff. Body shop hacked up a bunch of things on my car when it was at the body shop. Finally got around to fixing everything up front. They broke a bunch of bolts on the splitter, put a bunch of wrong bolts back in, left a couple out, didnt line things back up right.... you know typical body shop stuff. So I fixed all that. While the bumper was off, I also decided to replace the caster arm bushings with something better to hopefully solve my weird tire wear. I also decided to drill some holes in the bumper to mount my new canards. And to top it all off, I got me some new tires since track season is about to begin. I even decided to take it to work today!

Side-shot of the cheap Amazon rep of the ADRO lip I put on a month or two ago -- I don't think I ever actually posted any pics of it after claiming I would... oops.

Surprisingly decent fitment, right side has a hair of a gap (though my phone camera kind of hides that in this pic) but it isn't noticeable if you're not close to it / looking for it. For the $180 I paid, I'm pretty impressed honestly.

Fooling around with wheel colours again today. I think I prefer the more subtle silver. Then again maybe not, lol.

Honestly, red is magic in that it just works with ANY wheel color that isn't something outlandish like green. I can't even tell you which silver shade looks best because both look great with the red.

It looks great. Do you have a link for that lip?

Yes Reds a safe colour choice for a Sport car esp one with many compound curves. The darker silver wheels look more restrained and elegant while the bright silver "pops" more I think. Depends if you want the "look at me" look or not I guess.

How do you like the new engine in the 4Runner?
Kicking around that for my next 4WD vehicle.
First time owning a 4Runner so not sure how previous years were. I feel like if could have alil more pickup speed, mpg isn’t the best for a 4cyc. Drove to Orlando and back today, averaged about 20mpg. Went from a ‘25 Civic w 36+mpg. Wanted something w more space and the options from Premium trim combine with TRD Off Road are perfect.
