Forgive me if this has been covered. I searched but did not see anyone with my exact concern: Is it possible to manually disable the parking brake/E-brake while the car is off, with the manual trans? I assumed this would be easily achievable if you wanted to push/kick start your car or something like that. The manual states that you just press the button while the car is “drive ready”, but I’m guessing that means on, which is kind of silly to me. Thanks for any feedback.

Tried the accessory mode? As in press start button without foot on brake...

There's gotta be a release somewhere for sure for things like towing a dead battery car...

Tried that, and nothing. I read that the release is under the vehicle..

False alarm. Apparently you have to hold the start button for accessory mode, I was only pressing it. ?‍♂ It disengages fine. I’m not used to cars without physical keys yet. Thanks.

So the only way I could get to release the parking brake while the vehicle was off; was in diagnostic mode (3 clicks start button). Anyone else? M/T as well. Pressing or holding the start button does nothing for me.

Which is my next question, because I always let my cars prime in accessory mode first before starting. Does this do it automatically upon entering? Soon as I unlock, the screen/dashcam and everything is turned on without me touching anything.

Interesting. Prime what exactly?

Fuel pump mainly, but apparently it does it automatically once unlocking and opening the door
Even if it didn't it wouldn't matter. A second or two cranking is no big deal while the lift pump or delivery pump does it's job. A few of my bikes run the pump for 3 seconds when you turn on the ignition switch and also give each injector one fuel shot but if you turn the key and hit the starter straight away it doesn't really make any difference in reality. There is also fuel pressure trapped in most systems so it's not like the fuel pressure is zero.
