How does this work?In order for the M1 button to work, a module was installed in the center console. Any idea what the module looks like?
Curious if etching will become an issue with wiper use.Won a giveaway for Front Windshield PPF from AeroWerkz. They also did my full body PPF so had them do a check up.

They said it could if there's a lot of dirt and debris on the wipers. It has like a 2 or 3 year warranty too. It's not my daily driver and the car never sees the rain so it's all good for me. And it was freeeee.Curious if etching will become an issue with wiper use.
About how many hours did it take them? And, what do you think afterwards?Update:
Installed Rogue Engineering Short Shifter and Rear Carrier Bushings. Installed at Speed Logic in Garden Grove.
Maybe like 1.5 to 2 hours.About how many hours did it take them? And, what do you think afterwards?
I actually like the current shifter feel (Z4, so a little apples / oranges perhaps, but thinking they're actually really similar). But always up for improvement.

I like the shifter, the throws are only shortened by a little bit, nothing dramatic but the shifter feels solid. The rubbery feeling or vague feeling is gone, overall I like it. I also didn't mind the stock shifter, I felt over the stock shifter and clutch are very friendly to anyone learning manual but for me I wanted something that felt stiffer with a solid feeling without feeling kinda soft or loose.
Like I hit a solid wall? I dunno about that, but it feels firm and stong. I didn't like how the OEM shifter could feel like you could break it, even tho it wasn't really possible. When you put it in gear, does it feel like you hit a solid wall?
I assume it’s the G80 version?

Ok maybe solid wall wasn’t the right way to put it.Like I hit a solid wall? I dunno about that, but it feels firm and stong. I didn't like how the OEM shifter could feel like you could break it, even tho it wasn't really possible.
