Better tires, MT ET Street R's 18-19 psi, everything in sport except dampening. DSC and VSC totally turned off, 10 second burnout, 2nd gear, footbreak to bring up rpms and go.

If the prep is as good as you make it sounds, you shouldnt spin
Please correct me if I am Wrong..

But if I Turn of all electronics made for keeping traction, will this not cause even more wheelspin, as I get additional power?

Also make sure you have the suspension/dampers set to comfort/normal mode, you want the extra squatting from the softer setting to transfer more weight to the rear tires.
This is new, I would never have thought this, by my self - but it makes good sense!

I make over 1100hp on my car and this is what I do. If the prep it there it will hold it. If you spin then the pass is over anyways just lift.

  • Sticky Icky Tires
  • Comfort Dampening
  • xHP - Adjust Torque Limits Per Gear
    • For E35/Conti combo:
      • Good starting point to begin adjusting:
      • 1st gear limit: 450nm
      • 2nd gear limit: 550nm
      • 3rd gear limit: 650nm
      • Adjust the settings above based on how your hooking/spinning.

Fair point, my fear is mainly if it slides at speed.. But I get your point!

This looks really interessting, and quite easily doable.
I do take of in 2nd gear, but I guess I just skip the 1st gear setting.

Thanks!

Just finished dyno’ing the car.
Catless dp and custom flexfuel (e40) tune.

If I add the discussed slicks, Will the stres be to much on the drivetrain?

The transmission / driveshaft / diff can handle it no problem.

Stock axles have a history of snapping on ethanol tuned stock turbos. It isn't a guarantee and many users never have an issue, but if you plan to hit the drag strip often / launch the car a lot, especially with semi-slicks or slicks, I would recommend saving up for better axles; better to be safe than sorry.
