Hi,

I have an issue related to grip.

As you can hear in the video, my car experiences wheelspin for roughly 80% of the 201 m (1/8 mile) sticky track.

The DSC/VSC light stays on all the way through.
Tire pressure was lowered as a test, but it made no difference.
The tires were warmed up with a burnout.

I know this was at the end of the day, but the same issue persisted throughout the session (18:00–21:30, decent temperatures).

Setup:
- Custom Stage 2 map with Flex Fuel, E35
- Catless DP
- Rear camber adjusted
- Tires aligned/adjusted for maximum tire contact with the surface
- Used but not worn-out Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires Continental SportContact 7
- EIBACH PRO-KIT springs for GR Supra A90 30/40 mm (original dampers)
- xHP Stage 2 (same issue with Stage 1)

Any suggestions on how to get more traction?

Well.. If that might be the answer, I am pleased as this is the cheapest option!

Just wondering - are you doing traction mode (one click) or traction/vsc totally off?

1 Click, I am not skilled enough to take it off, I do not have the nerve, seen too many online stuff with people sliding off the road!

Are you launching in second gear? If yes, then your only option is to launch softer. Your tires are the limiting factor now.

If you want to launch properly with an ethanol map you will need a drag radial. I would recommend the MT ET Street SS.

100% tires will do the trick ... to be honest the stock rear springs would help mildly too

Yes, XHP helped with 2nd gear launch.

I went down the rabbit hole tonight with Chat GPT, and it seems to agree with you, that the setup is maxed out, and it needs to be a more soft pedal approach!

I will have a look at the tire, but being based in the EU, some (special) tires are difficult to get.

I also thought about the spring part, as the new ones are stiffer, but I cant reverse it, simply looove the look of -30mm and -40mm.

Yokohama A052 could be an option..

Ps. nice profile pic by the way!

Also make sure you have the suspension/dampers set to comfort/normal mode, you want the extra squatting from the softer setting to transfer more weight to the rear tires.

Better tires, MT ET Street R's 18-19 psi, everything in sport except dampening. DSC and VSC totally turned off, 10 second burnout, 2nd gear, footbreak to bring up rpms and go.

If the prep is as good as you make it sounds, you shouldnt spin
