If they could produce a sports car that is rwd with a starting price under 20k probably closer to 17k-18k i think it would be nice. For the 86 i believe if it doesn't move upmarket there is no market for it , because for example you can have with 30k euros a seat leon cupra packing 300 hp and the 86 with 200hp which has no torque at all costs 38k , i mean come on . So maybe the sfr will come and be a truly affordable car with rwd .

the twins have been doing fine in the NA & Asian/Oceania markets..if anything the sales figures don't bode well for the Miata/124 Spider which is what Mazda was anticipating and why they shared costs this time. Think we've already discussed the issue here being the costs of shipping and selling a car that is manufactured on the other side of the planet... If you thought the 86 was overpriced and underpowered how would the SFR be any different when it is bred from the same concept?
