Hey Supra lovers, I'll be in the market pretty soon. The wifey kinda gave me a hint that I'll be able to hopefully shop around this Nov which is my birthday month! Hopefully I can find a good deal here in the Bay Area.

Those are some solid discounts! The cars have barely hit the showroom and they're already going 4k under??

yup think about it:

  1. it’s mass manufactured
  2. How many people can really drop $50k on a 2 seat sports car
  3. How many people are bold enough to buy a sports car in the middle of a pandemic/recession
  4. Some dealers care more about volume than selling a few cars (think about the average person that walks into a Toyota dealership)

Possible deal on 2021 TUNGSTEN Supra in AZ.

Here is my story. I am shopping for 2021 Supra. Dealer doesn't have the colors I want and tried very hard to sell me their 2021 Tungsten(I meant, hilariously hard!;))So, I was lucky to know their floor price for this particular one. I guess the dealer will hate me to disclosure everything here. So, pm me if interested.

I do noticed they gave me 6.99 interest(bank unknown) for the finance option in the offer sheet. This is probably why they can offer me a very low price. But I already have the approval letter from chase and BOA for 3.0. They don't know about that. My advice is go get your bank or CU loan approved before going to the dealer and don't talk about finance option until you all reach the final sale price.

God bless the MKV. I feel dealers gonna have a hard time to sell those.
Which dealer you workin with?

Well said! Already heard back from some dealers who would discount the car 2000-4000 under msrp depending on colors and their locations.

Autonation Toyota Tempe!
That's funny. I almost bought theirs the week they had originally gotten it, I was working with Derrick. To me silver was my top choice. I went with Bell Road Toyota instead better deal.

MSRP: $56,874 + $289.90 dealer add on (theft package)
Dealer Discount: $4,000 (-$2k off car, +$2k on trade)
Rebates: No
Financing institution (BofA Business Auto Loan)
Interest rate: 2.74% (2.99% -0.25% Gold Member)

Edit: Should probably note my purchase was done at my home, car was delivered to me and they drove my trade back themselves. Never set foot in any dealer during my car search.

Its funny, I think SILVER is a super boring color on cars... but theres a guy that has a silver Supra in my neighborhood, and man it looks so good on the Supra.

Reason why I chose it, if others think it's boring cops think it's boring.

I think it can be pulled off well with a more exotic touch of mods vs. JDM style.

It was a bit more difficult to negotiate a deal where I live. I searched a 200 miles radius trying to find a 2021 MY. Most were either taking $1000 off MSRP or wouldn't budge on the price. Luckily Elk Grove Toyota emailed me back with a good offer (IMO).

2021 Red 3.0 Premium

MSRP: $57,630
discount: -$3,986
paid; $53,644 before tax/license/fees

There are more 2020s selling for around the same price or more and I'm sure I would have gotten a lower price with a 2020 but my heart was set on a 2021 due to the upgrades. If I'm spending that much money on a car I don't want any buyers remorse unless I was able to find a new 2020 for no more than $47k before tax/etc. So far I'm happy with the car.
