I see some hate over here.I believe it is an awesome car,i like the retro look ,it has a nice interior and it is a fucking twin turbo manual, in house development.What else do you want?:bonk:
Some are just probably mad because they aren't getting a manual. :p

That grille looks a lot better but does this mean it'll have dual fake vents too? If you're reading this Nissan, please don't. Don't jump on the fake vent hype train.
Based on the 370Z prototype they were testing with the "400Z" mechanicals at Nurburgring, the front bumper had several "open" holes. I am assuming for either brake ducting or possibly twin intercoolers. There were rumors that although the engine is the same as the Infiniti's, the intercooler may be placed up front like the GTR due to cooling concerns. This is not official information, just what has been noted in some online articles.

A2A would be a step backwards, probably just heat exchangers and/or brake ducts

I'd say that's highly debatable. A2A is very simple, much lighter and very effective if implemented correctly. Good piping, couplers/clamps and an efficient well-placed intercooler core is all you need. Very easy for the aftermarket to better solve. A2W is significantly more complex and HEAVY. You need a large tank/reservoir (or multiple), good high-flowing pump, heat exchanger(s), intercooler(s) and are MUCH more prone to heatsoak conditions. Most OEM A2W systems are pretty pitiful out of the box, and are way more involved to 'upgrade'. Also a higher risk of catastrophic failure, where there is practically none with A2A.

I hope they make it easier for tuners since the previous engines were not easy to tune. We always assume those bumper vents will serve as air curtains but look what happened with the MKV.

What do you mean by, and how do you gain "improved everyday responsiveness" with an A2W system vs A2A?

Edit: Unless you mean heatsoak, in which case I might actually agree.. :dunno:
