That is exciting, dont know how accurate the info is but...Overall I like the pictures...looks like this could hiding under all that camo...rear diffuser seems alittle odd...weight is maybe heavier that projected? BretttS just posted same, plus 335hp 8 auto...

So basically this has a shorter wheelbase than the previous z4 roadster , underwhelming . I will be very dissapointed if these are true because they tried to make the car smaller than the competition to save weight but let's compare it to the corvette .
Base spec Corvette :
wheelbase 2710mm
length 4496mm
weight 1539 kg
power 460hp
Also corvette is coming with a manual with more power and has only 43 kg (95 lbs) difference. I simply do not get why they did not stick to the gen 4 supra formula . Ever since i heard it probably has no manual as an option and is not 2+2 i am becoming very sure this car is far from a GT car so not a supra successor in any sense.

meh, probably fake otherwise the weight is quite disappointing. Doesn't really weigh less than a manual C7, has a much shorter wheelbase than one and power to weight even with the supposed 385 HP 6 cyl is down by a good amount....and I just saw that it also says 0-100 km = 3.8 secs, not sure how that math works especially with only 340 HP that the magazine reports..

1500 kg? That is 300 kg more than GT86. Those extra 100 PS are lost by the 300 kg increase.

I present you the CLA 45 AMG
It has a 4 cylinder engine that made 360 hp in 2014 , now it makes 380 hp . Anyway though 4 or 6 cylinders , this z4 coup project is one of many compromises .
