Keep your flame throwers holstered...I LOVE this car - it just doesn't love me/my back. Short story long:
I had a deposit down with my regular dealer the day after the Detroit show (#1 on list). They got the White LE I ordered in and the Toyota Sales Manager promptly sold it to his buddy. So, my odyssey began in search of. A small regional dealer emailed me back on Thursday a couple of weeks ago and said sorry - already sold. They sent another email on Friday saying it was available and asked if I was still interested. Saturday morning I took off in my '95 SC 400 (yes-original owner) with a full head of steam. It was love at first sight, and there was no way I was leaving without it. The first time I sat in the car was when I drove it off the lot. That's when my problem began...

The seat in the Supra is is extremely comfortable and supportive - obviously much better than my old SC. But when I finally got home I couldn't hardly get out. I have degenerative disk disease; legally handicapped. I didn't realize how much I was virtually enveloped into the seat. I have a car assist cane handle that worked fine in my dropped SC, but in the Supra - not so much.

So, I've decided that this is a young bucks car and not for an old fart like me. I just can't envision this car with handicapped license plates...

If there's still anyone looking for an LE, I've got one resting in my garage impatiently waiting for someone to play with. PM me if interested.
By the time all the smoke cleared, I'm about $25-30K over MSRP, so no low-ball offers please. I'm not desperate; just really pissed at myself.

holy fuck $25-30K over MSRP!!! Damn!

Did you play around with the 14-way seat adjustments to see ? Seating position is what it is, so maybe that won't help, but just my 2 cents in case they didn't tell you about the 14-way adjustment.

In any case good luck with the transaction.

Normally you really end up eating it with a car this new, but you're going to be facing a serious uphill climb to recover $25-30K over MSRP on what is now a titled used car.

For that amount of loss, you should consider getting custom seats installed or see if someone can modify the stock seat or create some sort of solution to help you get in and out of the car. If you love the car otherwise and don't want to flush money down the toilet, this would seem like the best solution.

I'm sure you've already tried it, but maybe you haven't considered it.
Set one of the memory spots for seat adjustment so that it sets you up for a better entry and exit and then keep a separate one for driving?

Holy Smokes. Those dealerships asking for 25-30k over MSRP need to be severely punished.

Usually you can return a car within a day or two. Have you tried taking it back to the dealership and undoing the transaction?

25-30K over MSRP!! Wow, the dealer got you. Good luck trying to pass that on to the next buyer.

You're obviously not going to get even MSRP for it. Even dealers are selling below MSRP already. Just do a search on car gurus or autotrader. With that said, either keep the car, or cut your losses, but don't expect to get more than 50-55k for it. Anything extra is bonus.

I really hope this is an actual issue and not some made up story for someone to flip their car using sympathy.

If you really paid that much above MSRP, I agree with the others here and look to get some type of modification done in the car for an easier time exiting the car. Unless there's something special about your car, I could almost guarantee your not finding a buyer that high.

I actually got the car on 8/24, so I'm kinda passed that window - if there was one. I've figured out these smaller dealerships are less forgiving...and greedy...

I believe this car shares the same seat brackets as the X2, maybe test drive one and see if you like those seats better to be swapped in.

I'm with Jabba on this one. Hard to believe someone buys a car without sitting in it, let alone without test driving it. BTW, I can see a reflection on the posted picture above and seems like person is standing just fine. And I think i also see a name tag on the shirt as in Toyota Employee.

But hey, if you really did pay 25k over the sticker and not even sat on it, sorry for my assumptions and more power to you.

And the screen name "flipcoin" just adds to it.
