He said there was no other part number in the system for the pump since 2019 for eu 3.0, nothing was changed since release, its the same number so I guess thats how? He checked if there was 01 or 02 in the end and there was none, saw myself.
I asked about this at dealer, my car is 2019 EU spec, apparently my oil pump number is 15100-WAA03, with no further replacements/revisions in parts catalogue, so I guess mine is metal one from the start?
Cant measure oil lately so was exploring options, seems its the sensor then...
It went off on one side today and i inspected it myself and I know what the problem is. Its the cut being a bit too narrow, so the vent does not sit on the hood with a bit of play, instead its very thight fit. So when the hood works with air/temps there is lateral tension that causes it to lift...
Hmm, they supposedly did those steps, i think it may be a problem with the cut, looks like there is a tension in 1 spot and its lifting there. Need to get this checked + will bolt it on anyway, just in case.
I'd say its 2-3x more effective than Verus. Its way bigger and its usually placed after the cooling stack, not over the cover like verus. Its about downforce too.
I have it atm but it keeps gettin deatached with tape so i will bolt it on next week.
ye, u can measure temps too. I dont want my semi tires to end too fast coz they r expensive and u will wear sides faster than thread itself. I'd say -3f, -2b is a good start for track setup.
I dont think thicker CSF cooler is the problem. And that one is actually beneficial, coz it does lower transmission oil temps.
My 2.0 has the cleanest air possible on stock, run with no cover, still 300+ f oils after 2minutes....
Do u happen to know what stock spring rates U have? Or could...
I have a hole in the hood (777 vent) but i went with pwr hx + rad, koyo aux + csf trans cooler on my 3.0. Wanna do wagner manifold to complete it. Baiscally this is the setup the fastest 600hp+ supras run so i just mimicked it. Have no temp problems so far but stock power. I also never solved...
Well, manifold is a must to add some point to sustain power... im aiming for ~420whp and that is not gonna hold on stock cooling at 30C (90F) weather... i already had power cut in 2.0, no thx for more :)
Going wagner coz it seems to have ~80% of capability for half of the price of EOS and other...
Well, I did cut my hood with 777 coz it seemed the best and cheapest solution so... :D but i'm adding sayber top fender vents too, so no problem with cutting for me :)
How are your oil temps doing? Did u solve it?
I'm in EU so cant really comment but I heared Barry at 3DM knows ohlins very well and he pro at it. Hes getting mentionned a lot on BMW M forums too as the person to go to. So I'd contact them and ask about it all.
How is servicing i dont really know, i just had an 1h chat with pro motorsport...
Well, I have full aero installed so need prob more than 25%. Stock RT is ~510/920 spring rate. I wanna go around ~700/1300 from the start with the revalving. +some Millway motorsports stuff to add to it (camber plates, monoballs, solid subframe mounts)
Im EU so I can get evo r (they r for zure...
Well how about R&T with track oriented spring rates? like 700/1300 divorced. Ofc needs a revalve but they can take it. + Ohlins are the most durable, can take winter, salt, fall mud and live. Less frequent and cheaper service intervals too. Blow a Nitron and U wait sometimes for weeks to get it...
