I’m not suggesting we jump the line. You’re correct that some cars sell for more. It’s not about that, it’s about the customers they’re courting. We aren’t Toyota buyers and we’re not the usual customers. Toyota wants us and knows who we are, it would behoove them to consider that we’re used to a level of service equivalent to the premium Toyota experience (Lexus).I understand where you guys are coming from but dealers are not going to revamp over one low selling car. My service department writes up on average 250 cars a day and 320 on Saturdays. 90% of those cars are done the same day.
I had a bmw come in for a recall on the screen brightness 2 Saturdays ago. I had at least 5 cars on my box ahead of him. He waited his turn.
I don’t work in sales but doesn’t the land cruiser cost much more? They don’t get snacks or water either.
