Spotted today at one of our local dealers. Matte Storm Grey Metallic (fully optioned). No dealer mark up. Byers Toyota in Delaware, Ohio with 12 miles on the odo.

Neat to see in person. I still prefer a shine to the paint but I love the seats.

$68k for a GR Supra is definitely up there... but the limitedness is nice. Wish the A91-CF came with more upgrades for the price though.

Dealership by me has a white one in stock, but has a $5,000 markup. Been sitting there for nearly 3 months and they refuse to lower the price lol

Something about the size of the aero parts don't fit the car!? Imo they're to big..

Like the color though...

~ I do agree. Too pronounced and looks to be an afterthought. Making the wheels looking even smaller and more recessed.

That's exactly what it is..couldn't put a finger on what it was that made it look strange...but it does take away from other aspects of the car..

I wonder if these special editions require crash testing and other certs. If so, who knows if they had to make 'em as such due to those. But just as well be designer decision especially for the front.
I'm guessing the front lines, the way it curves up couldn't be matched/parallel to bumper body line if it was made smaller to match size of skirts and spat

I don’t think they do a separate crash test for a special edition. There isn’t anything mechanically different in this case. Its mostly cosmetic

They are actually wind tunnel tested for more aero dynamics that's why the size are what they are. At least that's what Toyota has claimed.

I have the same cf edition in the same color and now that the weather has changed i love going into my garage and just looking at it.....As i see it its a poor mans ferrari. I see the 250 gto rear fendes in the back and a very exotic body design but in 50 years from now i dont see 68 million dollars for it. well i guess i should drive the wheels off of it !!!

I recently saw a video walkaround of one of these.... what's up with the mis-matched door panels? The drivers door is red and the passenger side is the normal black....? Why would Toyota do that?

@yellowman Being an owner of one of these CF editions....does that bother you?

That has been a thing since the Launch Edition, I remember reading that it was to make it more driver focused.

Not a Corvette.
Launch Edition is like that as well. It surrounds the driver. I thought it was odd at first as well but now I get it.

For those of you who are bothered by the mismatched door cards, just order a RHD door card from EU or Japan lol, all it is, is just a matter of swapping the window controls over from your original door card to the new one..

Also, keep in mind, our original US market door cards for the passenger side has the hole for a trunk release button for a RHD car... these cards are not specific per side and is just made so that nothing really differs between markets, it just doesn't make sense why for red interior'd cars that they didn't just incorporate the red card for the passenger, it doesn't make the car or interior any less driver focused lol
