So, recently I had someone help me do a full run through of all the work that was supposedly done for my vehicle. (I have included a spreadsheet of the items Joe sent me when he asked for payment).
What we found were more issues and flat out missing parts. Firstly, I was charged for a rear sway that Joe promised he had installed. It was missing and only the stock bar was on the car. (I have included a picture of that as well).
The front two coil overs had zero pre load applied to them as in we were able to spin the springs with ease. We also found that my wheel locks were free sitting on the tire and we were able to remove them by hand. That was for every wheel.
Joe also charged me for some sort of wind buffeting attachments for the driver and passenger side and those were not on the car either. The car is generally handling poorly at the moment so I will have to take it to someone else to get my alignment and all associated settings for the suspension done correctly.
Joe has agreed to refund me the full amount for the rear sway and wind buffeting devices but will only refund me 1/2 of the dyno. This is all contingent on me coming to see him in person. He will not refund me remotely for some strange reason. I have sent him numerous emails trying to convince him tp just end this the right way but he will not budge.
If anyone is interested in the email chains let me know because they are pretty....bizarre.
In any case I am going to 2J racing Monday to see Joe in person and hopefully get my money back.
