This just adds to the fun IMOIt's literally the worst programmed lane departure system on the market, by far. It thinks the tar snakes are lane markers too, and darts around trying to follow them.

Lane keeping does suck (but can be turned off), but the blind spot monitoring and parking sensors have been clutch for me. Blind spots are huge on this car. Also a fan of the HUD and wireless charging on the Premium. The most aggravating is the thousand spent on the lane departure that simply sucks rocks. Total highway robbery. I get more value out of the stupid mirror caps than the lane departure.
I'm definitely leaning towards a base 3.0 for the microfiber seats. Leather is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Plus, the microfiber just grips you better.I have a 3.0 base, only thing I regretted was CarPlay, but then I got it added. The full suede seats sold me, and it was available, lol…
No MK5 supras have rear Brembos. Fun fact: All the new M cars also use the single piston rear calipers. The only things it doesn't have are HUD, rear Brembos, and leather (which I did not want).
I think I’ve heard before that the HUD doesn’t work great with polarized lenses. Does it not work at all?Just a heads up (terrible choice of words), if you wear polarized sunglasses the HUD is pointless.
It works, just even if you have it at the brightest setting it’s still pretty dim. Never had a reason to try but wouldn’t be surprised if it would also disappear if you tilt your head one way or the other. For example if you drive with a tall mohawk.I think I’ve heard before that the HUD doesn’t work great with polarized lenses. Does it not work at all?

I have two different pairs of sunglasses, one polarized and one non-polarized. With the non-polarized ones the HUD is perfectly visible, just a little dim. However with the polarized sunglasses it more or less vanishes completely... until you tilt your head side to side, then it appears briefly. I've been told it has to do with how the lenses are polarized in a vertical pattern and if you tilt your head the vertical patterning moves with your head and doesn't affect the HUD as badly.I think I’ve heard before that the HUD doesn’t work great with polarized lenses. Both Premium and base have front Brembo calipers. Rear are normal single piston sliding calipers on both. Size in the rear is different on base.Brochure says the supra has brembos
