88K for a 45th Anniversary?

I received absolutely ridiculous this quote for a 2024 45th Anniversary Edition MT from Toyota of Cool Springs in Tennessee. Needless to say, I am more of an MSRP kinda guy, so that's a hard pass. Just FYI for those of you in TN. The search (and wait at two dealerships) continues.

I would normally have just not responded to the salesman, but with an outrageous quote like that I just couldn't leave it unaddressed. Super shady for sure!

I honestly wouldn't even want to pay MSRP for that thing. I've seen one in person at Formula D, I did not like the color at all and the wing was meh.

The Trueno Edition GR86 was much nicer.

Although I have doubts that BMW had any hand in the design of the Supra wing (which I don't hate), I don't think any OE wing could EVER be worse than the M4 GTS. Disgusting.

If you are really wanting one, try World Toyota near Atlanta. I had this same issue with 5 or 6 dealerships in TN when I was trying to buy my refraction blue A91.
Ended up finding world Toyota by just looking at what dealerships had supras on their lot near me. Got with them and was able to get the car for MSRP with no hassle and it was one of the first to arrive as well. Had a great experience.

Yeah they did the same to me when I was searching for a GR86. They like their markup.

I got my MT Supra for MSRP from Pepper's Toyota of Paris, TN. Check with them and see if they can request an allocation for you.
