I get that, but we are not talking about other cars here. B58's max out their DI, and their pumps. If you're pushing that much power, you need to expect some pain in the ass. I still don't see a real argument on why PI is such a bad thing. It's safe and delivers the power needed. There is plenty of data to back this up. That's why you need more than a HPFP to keep up with the power delivery of PI. The real question is, is this really better than PI? Also, first time I'm seeing someone go for this setup so if it is better than PI the data will prove me wrong.

Marketing lingo aside, I'm looking forward to seeing the results that will hopefully be shown here. As we speak, protuningfreaks still doesn't have their own controller for PI and for someone like me that's going with BM3 as their tuning platform and wont be able to use a Motiv Reflex due to incomptability issues, having to resort to using something like the AIC controller is out of the question. I've heard horror stories of those things failing and engines going to shit. Granted, I've spoken with PTF and they've told me that their Rev2 board for PI will hopefully be released by the end of the year. However, if it happens that this is not the case, it's nice to have other options available.

Quick update: so we found a small leak on my gas tank and well I am trying to figure out how to seal it today because you have to screw in for powering the pump it’s small but it’s there will hopefully be fixed today

Quick update: so we found a small leak on my gas tank and well I am trying to figure out how to seal it today because you have to screw in for powering the pump it’s small but it’s there will hopefully be fixed today

Update : for all gen 2 b58 on BM3 it does not have preset settings for the HPFP or injectors so my tuner had to work with spool to basically apply settings and scale injectors everything is running good except the HPFP and we just need to tweak it a bit under boost it’s completely fine however when it comes to idle it’s not so smooth but it’s expected when trying to figure out things . No big deal as of now just waiting for spool to reply to set everything perfectly but I will say seeing logs it for sure helps on Pump I am excited to try flex the kit should be here in 4 days for flex kit . I think we will be able to run 27-28.5 PSI of boost on pump with this upgrade not fully sure will post data just finalizing it on pump and then doing ethanol .

I'm sitting here still waiting for the argument of DI is more efficient than port injection to come up....

2 cars, same mods, one on full DI, one on port + DI, I bet the full DI car makes better power.

Update : Flex kit installed it was a bit of a brain workout since I already had upgraded fuel lines from spool but it worked now we dial in the Ethanol and after that we dyno

This is Daw E50 similar times to pump problem is in Canada it’s cold and I for the life
Of me can’t grip as well as having the stock wheels and tires don’t help at all . I spin in 5th . I sold my wheels and tires because I am getting a 18X11 setup to run 305 squared .
