It’s a shame as I would have loved to see a proper, end user build using Spool’s new products.
I do feel bad for spool, at the end of the day this is on them. They could have picked anybody to sponsor, but instead of choosing someone with proper technical knowledge, they pick this dude. It's like, was there even a vetting process?

edit: I just noticed that OP asked for tuner references 4 months ago. Got a recommendation for Jeff Payn and then decided to ignore it...

Surely, sir, you are NOT referring to my GIFs as garbage. My GIFs and trolls are a national treasure, sir. They have graced the eyes of kings, queens, presidents, dictators, @zrk , high level executives, CEOs, movie stars, extras in movies, high dollar escorts, hookers, and....your weed man. If you are indeed referring to my GIFs, I demand an apology. I shall not stand for this disrespect, kind sir!
This will not stand, you know. This aggression will not stand, man.

To defend Spool and show some actual numbers, I am maxing out my turbo and sitting at 605whp/611 tq. I am also tuned by a tuner I have worked with for quite a few years, the great Sameh. Spool has a great product and I have been impressed, you will see a 9-second pass with the pump alone(In fueling). I spend a lot of time at the track racing: Spool HPFP / Hybrid Turbo / Stock Injectors / Stock LPFP. Still have plenty of headroom in the fuel system, and should be able to hit around 650 I am pretty sure.

DA was at 2k when arrived this day so with good conditions it will hit a 9, stay tuned

Brodie straight up disappeared. What a shame this whole situation was.
I agree. Bad decisions were made for sure. Shame it went down this way. I think some people want to get "to the end" so bad they immediately jump to conclusions; never stepping back to analyze the situation in its entirety.

I wish I was the one who received that 15% off...

This dude could have criminal charges over this. All because he probably couldn’t be patient enough to get on a proper tuners schedule. Now he’s gonna be known in a very niche world as someone who charges back. I hope he’s alright with paying cash upfront.

Everyone is used to Lego car parts and AppStore like instant gratification. The second something doesn’t work they half ass everything to try and get it working.

I would love to see how these types of people would build a car 10+ years ago when this shit was way more custom and way harder.

I really thought I was gonna see some great data out of this

I have the baby turbo with the GC-MID and running E60 atm, with a pure 800 it would probably be in the mid 600s.
Are you running e60 for any specific reason? If you were to run full e85 at that power level would you be out of fuel/injector?

I was going to install IFX350 injectors on my 2.0 since it should have a lot of headroom in the rest of the fuel system (HPFP and LPFP shared with the 3.0) but now I’m not so sure…

Spool doesn’t seem to have any idea if it will work and wants me to upgrade the HPFP as well which doesn’t make much sense…

This whole thing is really quite the debacle. Awad clearly didn’t hold up his end of the deal and Spool looks silly for even being roped into this nonsense. On what basis did they agree to this deal? A single email from someone with no social media followers and no track record making ridiculous claims?

Not sure if you missed it, but he has 250k followers. He made it a specific point to say that multiple times after getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar. 😂
