Yes, and it's the atomized fuel that is cooler. As a liquid they are basically the same in the system. Pretty hot actually. So ethanol will cool the combustion chamber better than gasoline, but it's not a HUGE difference. This is why meth/water injection works so well to cool intake temps when injected into the intake tract.Thanks B-man made a note to my original post.
For reference, I see 340F or so charge temps BEFORE the intercooler in the manifold, while on track.
