Car will be fine. There are several options out there to deal with the valve. You can just tuck it up or delete it with something like this:

Image stolen from Colton.
That one doesn't fit its 3pin the valve actuator is 4 pin. I bought that one in the Pic and don't fit.

I had a quick question and sorry if this has been answered before but i tried to search but did not find anything. Basically i am looking to purchase a RK TI Signature single exit exhaust but what happens when you delete the exhaust flaps? does it cause a CEL? any adverse issues to how the car functions or performs?

thank you in advance.
You will need this part if delete the exhaust flap actuator. The actuator has 4 pin connector. Grimmspeed only sell a 3 pin connector. The 4 pin I got from ecs tuning. Part number 18 30 2 411 427.

You don't need any sort of canceler or simulator. The car does not throw an infotainment screen code from unplugging the valve or pulling the fuse. Your CEL will not light up. The car will not alert you or warn you in any way. Nothing happens except an invisible error is stored in the ECU, which can be read with a BMW-aware code scanner. This code has no impact; you will never see it unless you specifically download an app, plug in an OBD reader, and go looking for it.

Random question about this: if you pull disable the valve, does this cause non-cold startups to roar the exact same as when you start the car already in Sports mode? Or is the startup roar a software thing based on the mode and it still sounds different but just louder since the valve is open?

Or asked a different way, is the only difference between normal mode and sport mode startup "roar" the valve being open or not?

This.

You can try it out by pulling the F203 fuse in the rear passenger side hatch fuse area once the car is on, warmed up and the valve is open. This will force the valve to stay open in any mode regardless of any load on the throttle or transmission.

Guys, please correct me if I'm wrong.

U won't get a cel but it may have an issue with going in an out of sport mode. I bought the valve delete simulator from ecs tuning for bmw as the plug for our supra is a 4 pin plug. Don't order the one from grimmspeed as it's only 3 pin plug.
