lol if the $35k base model actually only had 300hp and the Nismo version was the one to have the same 400hp tune as the Q60 redsport.

AND the Nismo according to that magazine, will weigh in at 1550kg which should be lighter than the regular 400z right? So really looks like the 400z with less power and weighing more than the Supra is gonna have a bad time lollol if the base model for $35k actually only had 300hp and the Nismo version was the one to have the same 400hp tune as the Q60 redsport.
Not necessarily, I believe with the Z34 the normal 370Z and the Nismo version are roughtly the same. Depending on trim, AT vs MT, etc. around 3,300-3,400lbs.AND the Nismo according to that magazine, will weigh in at 1550kg which should be lighter than the regular 400z right? It does look better than the R35, but still kinda fugly imo. ?If that's the new GT-R in red, I like!
You're onto something there. The Red Sport is $60k so I very much doubt they'll make that engine available for $35-40k in the base Z. That'll most likely get a lower hp version.lol if the $35k base model actually only had 300hp and the Nismo version was the one to have the same 400hp tune as the Q60 redsport.
That and nobody will want to steal the Z.I think the main benefit the Z will have over a Supra is manual but I'm happy as hell with the ZF8
By time it comes out, it will be more than the Supra hahahCar and Driver says "starting around $40,000". It's already gone up $5k, and it hasn't even debuted.

I have the same gut feeling as well. However, I suspect a lot of people are still going to believe that's a better buy than the 2.0 Supra. You're onto something there. Maybe the people wanting a manual in the Supra so badly, can get the manual 400z? Win win….
