Low side of that... ~399.3HP
Wow. Gonna assume that’s at the crank… big let down compared to the Supra, especially the 21’s.

lol if the base model for $35k actually only had 300hp and the Nismo version was the one to have the same 400hp tune as the Q60 redsport.
AND the Nismo according to that magazine, will weigh in at 1550kg which should be lighter than the regular 400z right? So really looks like the 400z with less power and weighing more than the Supra is gonna have a bad time lol

Not necessarily, I believe with the Z34 the normal 370Z and the Nismo version are roughtly the same. Depending on trim, AT vs MT, etc. around 3,300-3,400lbs.

You're onto something there. The Red Sport is $60k so I very much doubt they'll make that engine available for $35-40k in the base Z. That'll most likely get a lower hp version.

C&D is still calling it the "400Z". ?

I hope we get specs and pricing on the 17th.

I have the same gut feeling as well. However, I suspect a lot of people are still going to believe that's a better buy than the 2.0 Supra.

Maybe the people wanting a manual in the Supra so badly, can get the manual 400z? Win win….

That's my plan, though I may have to wait for the Nismo version, which seems won't be in the initial reveal...
