I tested a fork for Walter Huf last night.
If you load up Bimmercode and search for ENTWICKLER_MENUE in the headunit and change it to Aktiv, you gain pretty much the same functionality as BMW/Mini
Note you'll need to use the APK here for now: https://bimmergestalt.s3.amazonaws....e-latest-j29_as_bmw-mapbox-sentry-release.apk
I'd strongly recommend waiting for the app update to get pushed.
Edit: I'd highly recommend supporting the project if you can - there's a "buy me a coffee" link in the repo
It's a whole lot cheaper and easier than buying an MMI box ;D

Quick question. How do I get the detailed vehicle info? Is it something with the AAIdrive or can I get it to work on mine? I use an Iphone. Oh also unrelated to this thread but someone might be able to help. Is there anyway that I can connect carplay through the usb rather than bluetooth?

Does this work with Youtube Music? Last time I tried I couldn't get it to bring the app into iDrive. I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't use Spotify lol

AAIdrive adds the main Android Auto functionality to the car as native car apps (music, notifications, calendar, custom map) and a few extra things too, check out the GitHub or Play Store for more details.
It requires that the official app (Supra Connect, I believe) connects to the car and checks the Apps box, and then AAIdrive will connect to the car.
Even without coding the car to allow for showing apps in it, AAIdrive will be able to read the car data.

YouTube Music doesn't allow AAIdrive to launch it, but it works fine once you launch it manually.

To be clear, this isn't Android Auto, this just provides the high-level functions of Android Auto.
The car API doesn't send touch screen events, unfortunately it only sends button press events.

I got the app to connect but I'm also not seeing a detailed car info item under sport displays.

Do you see the other AAIdrive features under the Connected Apps menu? AAIdrive can only add apps to the car if the coding option is set, and the phone interface should say this.
Detailed Car Info should be in the Vehicle Info menu, not within the pre-installed Sport Displays app. It's also one of the new blank rows within the Connected Apps menu.

Hmm I'm not sure, I only not connected apps and updated via Bimmercode so I'm not sure what it's supposed to look like with or without AAIDrive.

I attached some screenshots and pics. It looks like the apps are passing (those are the only 4 available) and that AAIDrive is connected in the app via Supra connect. I'm able to get car info in AAIDrive itself but it's not showing up on iDrive.

I heard it's supposed to be under sport displays in the "My Vehicle" section but there's nothing below it, including any blank values. It just stops there.

It's here for me, it's under sports display as in, it is one below sports display in the menu.

Yeah it's weird. I definitely don't have an option below that. I also have it coded as aktiv in
Bimmercode.
