Downpipe, ecutek and a visconti flex fuel kit. You need nothing else and anything else will be for sounds / looks until you are ready to go to port injection or a bigger turbo. Imo those 3 things are the best setup for the supra. A 500 whp street beast that'll run 10s at the track and never have an issue.
Wrong. The answer is tires.

Turbo kit with PTE 6870 and Port Injection with an E50 EcuTek tune. Still comes with a downpipe :dunno: Similar to what Jesse said, just different.

bimmercode is worth it just to turn off the fake engine noises (active sound)

but while you're in there,
turn off warning menus and pop ups
turn off the lock beeper
turn off the speedometer offset
etc...

these little details made a big difference (at least for me)
what is the speedometer offest?
and any more cool things to code?

Turn off Auto Start/Stop
Change the brightness on the dim screen
Turn off active sound design (the fake engine noise)
Always make the car start on sport mode

etc. etc.

If "best" means what will make you the fastest then probably tires. The car will pretty quickly start to overpower the stock tires in a straight line at full throttle with a few bolt-on parts and their benefits in the corners is self-evident. I'm on stock tires on the street and even when they're nice and warm I can roast 'em through all of first and second gear. I only have a downpipe, exhaust, a JB+, and other minor stuff.

Has anyone been able to make the "secret menu" come up on start-up; I want a way to easily track oil temp. It helps me know when it is safer to have fun in the car, but I like to wait for oil to get to temp before doing that.

No, not really. You have to go through an annoying process every time you start it up.

Just take it easy the first 15-20 min and you'll be all good.
If you want to make sure then purchase a OBD adapter and track the temps with your phone.

I use the OBDLink CX with Bimmerlink.
