So I'm going to be moving away from the stock tires soon and I'm looking to bump up to 265/35/19's and 285/35/19's and get a tire that has more grip. Currently on my custom E50 tune, traction control hates me in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd anywhere below 4k RPM's, with VSC off 1 click, the car steps out sideways a bit in 3rd down low. Basically, I'm looking to get opinions from anyone willing to give one, on what a stickier street tire is that can also get decent mileage. I've read around the internet about people getting anywhere between 8,000-10,000 miles out of a set of R888R's on their dailies/weekend warrior vehicles. Anyone have opinions or results to share?

The Supra isn't my daily, it's a pleasure vehicle that I mostly drive certain afternoons and on the weekend. I will only average close to 5k miles a year on the tires I get next. Currently I'm looking at the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s's, R888R's, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's.

I ran the Falken 615k+ on my Evo. Got 10k miles, one big track day and somewhere around 150 auto-x laps out of them. They are good in the rain as well. I liked them so much, I now have a set on the Supra. So much better than the stock tires.

This may seem elementary, but have you read any reviews on Tire rack? Full Disclosure: Not affiliated or promoting them in any way.

Tire rack is actually where I will be purchasing my tires, but no, I actually didn't think about looking into their reviews. Thanks for the tip!

They only make them up to 18” IIRC

Both the evo and supra are on 18s, so ya thats a good possibility. Never had to search for them in 19s.
My Evo was on 18s as well. I probably should run them on the Supra. But the HKS adjustables don’t go low enough to run 18s imo - I Ride low lol

Check out any of the modern 200 TW tires for the kind of longevity you’re looking for. Falken 660 is the new kid on the block and sized for us.

18s on the Evo is the opposite of the Supra. They look small on the Supra and big on the Evo. One of these days I will stop being lazy and put my springs on the Supra....

Good luck finding them in stock. I was going to get those instead of the 615s but gave up after waiting 4 months for them to show up. Granted, 18s are more popular than 19s so there may be a better chance getting them in 19s.

I'm currently running Michelin PS4 in the front I do 275x35x19 in the rear I do 305x30x19
I have good grips on a tires I have no complaints, they said it should give me at least 20,000 mi on it and I have no rubbings or whatsoever and yeah I also run HKS adjustable spring

Are you tuned? How's the ability to hook in the lower gears? I'm looking for a tire that can restore some low gear grip, currently my stock tires can't hook at all in first or second, and spins halfway through third.
