As the title states, just bought a 2025 MK5 supra manual, came with AA catted downpipe, AWE touring exhaust, armaspeed intake and the Dinantronics x piggy back tune. Should i be concerned about the dinantronics module? Should i remove from my car? Im only a little worried because i cant find much about this particular module on the forums, i can only find info on the JB4, & saw with some downpipe can cause overboost issues. Please help !

Remove it.
Unlock DME.
Find a Tuner and follow his recommendations.
Enjoy!

It's mostly fine, but piggyback tuning solutions are kind of jank and won't feel that good.

For the manual supra's 95% of the time piggyback tunes will cause overboost / throttle issues and OTS MHD/BM3 tunes aren't the best either, get an unlock and then get help making a custom MHD tune and you'll love it 10x more than you currently do.

Does anyone know/seen if the DINANTRONICS X will cause overboost issues?

I saw in an older thread where a Dinan rep said they tested on a manual Supra without issue..

I know the less restrictive Downpipe with the DINANTRONICS X may have a higher likelihood of causing overboost issues.. was actually thinking of getting both but right now thinking just the DINANTRONICS X.

I have the DINANTRONICS X on my Supra and other it is stock. There is a definite boost with it but it also feels normal when driven. You get the extra when you put your foot down. Gas mileage is the same as before also. I have it on the 5th setting. I got it cheap and thought I would try it and it is fine if you just want a little extra. If you want a lot more then spend the money for the unlock and the tune but it isn't`t cheap.

Some shops will do $100 unlock now lol. ~400 for MHD license(flasher and monitor) and ~500 for a custom flex tune.

Its <$1000 total to get a proper tune on the car nowadays.
