Broken Cusco rear sway bar

I’ve been noticing weird with my steering being driven something is off so I checked my rear suspension and shockingly I discovered my rear sway bar is broken literally. I was wondering what could have cause this.

Nevermind. I see it now. Snapped off right at the mounting point.

I have no idea how it happened. Couple weeks ago I started to notice handling was weird and clunking noise when I would turn and when I go up the drive west side way. So today I jacked it up took off the wheel and came to shockingly my sway bar is broken.

only thing I can think of from photos is manufacturing defect. looks almost as if it was sheared clean..

i would also double check a few things in the pic like the axle and the link above

just curious... what was the torque on bushing? did you apply grease or any sort on rubber busing?

The bushing mounts bottom out so you can't overtorque anything there.

I wanna know what happened. there's no way you don't feel this snap in half. lol even if you were driving slow in a straight line you'd hear and feel that

I went to a high reputation shop for Supra to install it for me.
